Brian secured over $35 million in school aid for Longmeadow, East Longmeadow, Hampden, and Monson to ensure quality K-12 education for our children.
Brian voted to provide our local police departments with important funding for training. He also continues to work with our Sheriff's Department on the opioid crisis and substance abuse treatment.
As Vice Chairman of the Committee on Elder Affairs, Brian has brought resources home for our councils on aging and has focused on delivering quality eldercare services to our seniors.
Brian has voted to fund vocational education programs at the Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative and adult education programs through the Regional Employment Board because he knows that creating a skilled workforce will create jobs.
As the first co-sponsor of this important bill in 2015, Brian knows that connecting Boston and Springfield will bring jobs and grow our economy.
